Use Notes for private text, recovery codes, secure references, and checklist-style private tasks.

Desktop can use denser note views. Mobile keeps the notes list to one column for readability.

Create a note

  1. 1
    Open Notes.

Use the Notes tab or menu item.

  2. 2
    Select add.

    Open the note editor.

  3. 3
    Add a title and content.

Keep titles descriptive enough to search later.

  4. 4
    Save.

Confirm the note appears in the list.

Create a checklist

  1. 1
    Open the note editor.

    Choose checklist mode where available.

  2. 2
    Add checklist rows.

Use one row per task or private reminder.

  3. 3
    Tap rows to complete them.

Completed rows stay in the note until edited or removed.

Organize notes

  • Pin Keep important notes at the top.
  • Color Use color as a quick visual category.
  • Tags Add tags such as #work or #finance when search should find a note by context.
  • Archive Hide old notes without deleting them.

Find notes

Use search for title, visible content, and tags. On mobile, the single-column layout is intended to keep each note readable without side-by-side squeezing.

Archive or delete

Archive notes you may need later. Delete only when you are sure, then sync so other devices receive the delete tombstone.
